Galerie Spectra is Moving

Galerie Spectra is moving from its current location and is in need of funding support.

Below is a letter from Suzanne Buckland, president of Spectra Artists, Inc.

Dear Artists & Patrons:
It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that Galerie Spectra has to move.  Spectra Artists, Inc.'s home has been at Memorial City Mall since our inception, March 2015.  Unfortunately, our space in the mall has been leased to a retail store, to be developed sometime this summer.  We plan to remain here until the end of June, but are currently and actively seeking a new space somewhere in West Houston.  To that end, I have created a crowd funding campaign.  Please consider making a contribution at https://www.generosity.com/community-fundraising/west-houston-based-art-center-gallery/x/14128949.
Should you have any ideas or information on a permanent location possibility for our Texas Non-Profit Corporation, benefitting local artists and the community, please contact me at galeriespectra@gmail.com.
Thank you for your support!

Houston Public Media Covers Artists On Board Exhibit

We're in the news!

Amy Bishop of Houston Public Media just recently released a news article covering Art DeckCo's Artist on Board Skateboard Art Exhibit in Galerie Spectra.

She went to Galerie Spectra last Friday, 27th of May 2016, to interview a number of artists who are participating in the current ArtDeckCo Exhibit.  My wife and I were among those who were interviewed.  She also interviewed Katherine Sloan, who is one of the founders of ArtDeckCo.
