Summer View

The title of this painting is "Summer View".  It is a painting of two cousins resting after a hard day's work on the top of a hill, overlooking a vast area of rice fields below.  They had been having fun, playing a guitar, and singing their favorite songs, while watching the sun, as it sets in the horizon.

My wife, Lorna, and I finished this painting on the 30th of April 2014.  It is an acrylic painting on a 30" X 40" stretched canvas.

Dogs Playing Mahjong - A Work in Progress

I have been working on a new art work recently.  This time, it's a graphite drawing on an 18" X 24" paper.  I am drawing four dogs playing mahjong.  Here is a picture of my drawing in progress:

It's almost done, but I need to work on it a little bit more.  Hopefully, I'll be able to finish it next week end, most probably on Sunday.

It's Sunday night right now.  I have been working on it the whole afternoon.  It's about time to stop and take a rest.  Tomorrow, I will be working in the office as an engineer as usual, and will not be touching this drawing until next week end.
